Cali Style Double Burger 

Located in the dead center of Old Town in the square and College where the hustle and bustle happens. Great location! You walk in and get seated right away and the view is 80% windows of Old Town. Very Clean tables and restaurant.

Before I jump into the burger review I want to note that there is no single patty burger on this menu – the double is the only burger on the menu at ND.

The burger came out and the top bun was on the cold side but the burger was hot. It’s a soft potato bun and the soft not toasted maybe why it was still cold. The 2 patties were a good size, not a lot of flavor in the actual meat but the rest of the toppings made up for it. Grilled Onions were candied and soft, just added the sweetness. The Tillamook Cheese had a really good smoke flavor. Pickle added tang. Lettuce and Tomato both were fresh and crisp. BUT the KICKER was the Pink Sauce!?!?! It was creamy and had heat which made you Whoa I tasted it! Leave an afterburn but not too much more if I want that heat again. The coated fries were square cut and perfectly fried. But I could have had more for my  serving size taste. Plus it is $3 more for the fries making it a $15.00 meal. I know we are at a street bar but COME ON MAN I love my hearty meals for the price and this was a little on the skimpy side.
