In Denver – Union Station area; as a matter of fact, next door to the train station. February in Denver and it is full sun and 52 degrees outside. What do you do? Go get lost and find the vibe of downtown Denver which is super cool! Sitting outside was perfect for lunch making this one of the most fun reviews to date. We walked in and didn’t know how it operated. SO if you go get a number off the table so they know where to bring your food. The staff took big time care of us, choosing the best table in the sun and delivering everything super fast. This place was super clean inside and out.  Impeccable service and friendly. They claim to have the best burgers in Denver who doesn’t, though? Whole reason I am here). They use the highest quality ingredients like Certified Piedmontese Beef and you can taste the difference. Let’s see how it rates.

Buffalo Bill Burger – Yes, I went double!

First, the burger comes out on very tasty potato buns. They held up to the sauces and the 2 pattys and spread while being some of the softest buns I have reviewed. Great combo. Topped with a great blue cheese hardy in taste to kick the other flavors but not too much, not an overpowering taste. Steakhouse bacon that was smoked perfectly and crisp just about as good as it gets. Fresh lettuce and fresh ripe tomato with ideal firmness. Buffalo sauce has the right heat, not too much and not too little so you can taste everything. The homemade Doddy Mayo was spot on, a perfect addition. The patties were Free-Range Bison and come out PINK unless you want them another way. Which I do not recommend. They were about ¼ in thick or more and man, does the flavor deliver. The meat and seasoning was spot on. You could eat just the patties by themselves. Fries are alacarte with over 7 choices you can pick from. We went with the Parmesan Truffle Fries which had the right amount of parm, salt and crispiness. You know Burger-Mike is always bitching about not enough fries? WELL NOT THIS TIME!!!!!!!!! Yes, you pay for them but it is worth it. This was on the higher side of the price tag but I would recommend Hopdoddy’s to anyone. This burger really INSPIRES! 

 $19  (for a double) plus $9 fries which came before the meal and feeds 2 easily.
