CJ’s Patio

Loveland, Colorado

Located on the South West Loveland in the King Soopers anchor building where they have been for a while. This is a locally owned and operated restaurant. Any given night it is usually packed. Tonight, Tuesday, 6:30 and they are 50% full in the middle of the week I get it. The place was staffed well. We walked in and got greeted and seated right away. Looking around everything was clean and the bathrooms were well maintained. The waitress took our order and we waited and waited and waited and waited. They were not that busy so maybe they forgot to turn in our order??

Bacon Cheese Burger

BUT WAIT! 35 minutes later they brought us our burgers. The buns were white bread buns over toasted and hard. The toppings were Bacon, Cheese and oh yeah STOP… NO TOPPINGS except for watered down shredded lettuce and Mayo. The thickness of the meat was very thin, the flavor of the meat was nice and smoked/grilled and was a saving grace on this score for the little meat patty it was. (side note: my wife, Mrs. Burger Mike had the Swiss mushroom burger that was so over cooked after asking for it to be pink was the worst bite of a burger I have ever had!) The size of the meal was like a kids meal for a very small child.

The fries were good but a very small portion of them. The price was $11.00 but man I wanted a $11 meal worth but got a $2.00 meal. I was shocked after all the things I heard about the burgers here. Skip CJ’s and grab your local drivethrough, everyone will be happier.
